7 for Old Trafford , 7 for Fergie ....

United gave the fans two good news.

The first one is about number 7 in Old Trafford.

After several rumours about him, finally Christiano Ronaldo made a decition. He will stayed in Old Trafford at least for one season. Many fans of United accepted this news with joy, and they promised to support CR7 as soon as he recovered from his injury.

This news hammered Real Madrid President, Ramon Calderon, because his promised to brought Ronaldo to Santiago Bernabeu is nothing more than a lips service for Madrid fans. He failed to realized his promises. Kaka from Milan, Cesc Fabregas from Arsenal, both of them were part of Calderon’s campaign to reached Madrid President’s chair. But as we know, no one of them arrived to Bernabeu. Unsucces to got Kaka and Fabregas caused him to chase another target, and that was Ronaldo. But once again, he failed.

Now, sir Alex Ferguson would give a protection for Ronaldo. He start with a new conversation about Ronaldo’s contract. He said that he would open the new deal to keep Ronaldo in his side.

The second good news is about 7th Community Shield for Fergie

United succeeded to lifted their seventh shield in sir Alex Ferguson’s era. The match finished by penalty shootout after in 90 minutes both teams unscored the goal. Actually, Manchester United handled the match, but David James, the goalkeeper of Porsmouth, gives his best performance to denied United victory.

And after 90 minutes, score was still equal by 0-0. The match must finishes with penalty shootout. Tevez, Giggs, and Carrick scored through penalty. And Edwin van Der Sar prooved that he still the best goalkeeper for United. He saved one penalty and brought United to won Community Shield. In Porsmouth side, there is just Jermain Defoe who succeeded to beat Van Der Sar.

By the way, this succeed have a great meaning for United. They would have a good start to begin the new season and an ideal campaign to reach maximal attempt in the all competition.

Where were you when Solskjaer put the ball in the Germans the net?

For Manchester United, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer not only a player. Solskjaer was a new United legend that gave the role mode for MU young player about how should be a player served to his club.

Born in Kristiansund on February 26,1973, Solskjaer has shown his talent as a football player. The beginning of his career was begun from a third Norway division club, Clausenegen FK. With his extraordinary talent, during 1995 he was recruited by the main division club of Norway, Molde. And only at intervals of a year, in 1996, Manchester United through Sir Alex Ferguson bought him with the price 1.5 million pound.

His debut for MU was when United faced Blackburn Rovers. He success set the important goal for United. And the season was seeming well to him. Totally 19 goals that were made by him and he also became a top scorer in his 1^st season with Manchester United.

Spoke about Solskjaer meaning that also spoke about the injury. Solskjaer was indeed close with injury. Moreover in the year 1998-1999, he was almost sold by United to Totenham Hotspurs with the value 5.5 million pound. It was just fortunate that MU failed did that, because in the end of the season, Solskjaer became the key player that delivered Manchester United became the champion of the Champions League for second times.

And his loyalty to United was paid by Manchester United with a testimonial match to honour him on Saturday, August 2, 2008. Currently Solskjaer has retired, he tried to change his profession from player to the coach and was trusted by United to became the coach for the United junior team.

Ramon Calderon,The President of Real Madrid, promised Rafael Nadal that Christiano Ronaldo will be arrive at Santiago Bernabeu soon.

Hot issue for this season is : “Will CR7 change his colour to White ?”

Yup, the New Phenomenon, Christiano Ronaldo is a rising star. He was born in Madeira Portugal, 3^rd of February 1985, started his footbal career as a Sporting Lisbon’s player. But before that, he also played in Desportivo National (1995-2001) and when he was eight years old, he played in a local club, Andorinha (1993-1995).

Sir Alex Ferguson recruited him after United played a friendly game with Sporting Lisbon, where Manchester United defeated and Ronaldo was the player who crushed United’s deffends.
Most fans of Red Devils inquired Ferguson’s choice because Fegie plotted him to wearing jersey number 7, the sacred number for Manchester United. They said Ronaldo didn’t deserved yet to replaced David Beckham and Eric Cantona, formers of United 7, to be a new number 7.

But, as always, Sir Alex Ferguson walked away, he said that time, “Maybe now he’s just nothing, but if all of you have patience, he’ll be something for Manchester United”. And once again Fergie proved what he said.

But now, five years after his arrival to Old Trafford, Christiano Ronaldo gives his teammate, his club, and also his fans a big question mark. He refused to talk about his transfer to Madrid from time to time. He let his transfer’s rumors grows up and up.
His mother heat up the issues when she said that she really hoped Ronaldo would be the part of Santiago Bernabeu’s army, because Madrid is her favorite team from long time ago. And for consideration only, Ronaldo’s favorite color is WHITE.

This situation make United’s fans start to questioning Ronaldo’s loyalty. They doubt Ronaldo will stay in Manchester United this season. They’re very sure the number 7 will leave Old Trafford and change his red turn to white.
The assumption from United’s fans as though confirmed when Ronaldo said, “I have a dream to play in Spain, it doesn’t matter what the club is. Spain have an attractive and spectacular football style. I love being United, but we never know what will happened in the future”.
Some of frustated fans said, “He is really ungrateful. When most all of English hated him, Manchester United tried hard to kept him here, Manchester United and their fans always supported Ronaldo. Now,when he becomes a star, he will leave us as his payment”.

Well, whatever Ronaldo’s choice, that’s his way. It seems for United to make a preparation now. Fergie have to seek a new man to substitute Ronaldo ( if he decide to leave) to wear the sacred seven.

Three times to final …
Three times they’ve got the trophy …

When van Der Sar’s big hand denied Anelka’s penalty, thousand of United’s supporters in Luzhniki stadion sung the song ….
“GLORY GLORY MANCHESTER UNITED …”

Yeah, van Der Sar’s hand has brought the third Champions League title to Old Trafford, the Theater of Dreams, for Manchester United. They beaten Chelsea by score 6-5(1-1) by penalties shootout. That successed made United never losses when they through to final match.

First final match for Manchester United was in year 1968. Matt Busby and his Busby Babes won over Benfica by score 4-1 after they fought 120 minutes in extra time. United got it first title in their home, England, on Wembley stadium. Charlton, Best, and Kidd scored the goals for Manchester United.

United must waited for a long time to got the second title. Thirty one years later after The Busby Babes lifted the Europian trophy, Alex Ferguson brought his army to the final match against Bayern Muenchen. This final match deservedly got label as “ A Most Dramatic Final You’ve Ever Seen”.
Until 90 minutes, Muenchen was lead by 1-0.They just need to waited three more minutes of added time to brought European title to Germany. But two supersub from United, Sheringham and Solksjaer, sent a nightmare for Muenchen just in 112 second before the game finished in Nou Camp, Barcelona. Red devils won by score 2-1.
The third title also came with a dramatic moment. In normal time, Ronaldo given a goal to made Manchester United lead over the Blues Chelsea. But, lucky for Chelsea, just one minute before half time, van der Sar was beaten by Lampard. He scored the goal to equalized the game.
In second half, Drogba has a chance to brought Chelsea lead, but his shot hit United’s post. Then came extra time, and that was Lampard’s turn to made a score, but unfortunately, this time was Manchester United’s bar denied it, so 1-1 not changed after all. Four minutes before extra time finished, Drogba given a nightmare for his teammate. He slapped Nemanja Vidic and got a red card for his silly behavior.

Dramatic moment came in penalties shootout. Chelsea almost got their first title in Champions League, when Ronaldo’s shot brilliantly saved by Peter Chech. Score was 4-4, and Chelsea got advantage, because United has kicked five penalties and Chelsea has one last shooter, John Terry.
And that was the turned point moment. John Terry slipped and can’t even scored the winning goal, although van Der Sar has moved to wrong side. Manchester United got the second wind, Anderson and Giggs maximalize their chance. After Giggs scored a penalty shootout for United, Anelka got his turn. He must scored to keep Chelsea’s way to got title. And then, he failed to scored, he failed to beaten van Der Sar, and he failed to kept Chelsea on the Champions League winner’s track. So, supporters of United said thank you so much to Anelka.
